Building brighter futures for children and adults with autism
1 in 30 children in B.C. are diagnosed with autism; one-third are non-verbal.
PALS Autism Society and PALS Adult Services Society (PASS)
provide year-round education, therapy, life skills, employment,
and housing programs for individuals with autism.
Founded 19 years ago by five mothers, PALS was B.C.’s first independent
K–12 school and adult program dedicated entirely to autism.
Supports 70+ children, youth, and adults each year a safe, inclusive
environment.
With limited government funding, fundraising is vital to sustain the
therapies, facilities, and dedicated staff that make this work possible.
PALS Autism School – True cost per student: $77K – $91K/year; $13K per student must be fundraised annually to keep tuition
manageable for families.
PALS Adult Services Society (PASS) –
True cost per member: $43K – $81K/year; $7.2K fundraised annually per member to provide therapies and activities.
