Dress Regulations

Clubhouse Dress Code

As a progressive private club, the dress code for the Marine Drive clubhouse will be left to individual sense of good taste. Members and guests are expected to be wearing smart casual clothing in good repair.

Please refrain from wearing hats (unless on the patio), sweat pants, hoodies and exercise clothing.

Golf Course & Practice Areas - Gentlemen

Logos
Non-golf-related logoed attire should not be prominently displayed.  Non-golf related logos are not permitted on hats.

Shirts
Collared golf shirts, turtlenecks or mock necked shirts over 1 1/2" in height are permitted. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Pants
Tailored slacks and Bermuda length golf shorts with a front zipper are permitted.  Rugby pants, cargo pants, cargo shorts, track pants, denim of any type and sweat pants are not permitted.

Socks
Socks must be worn at all times except when wearing golf specific sandals.

Hats
Billed caps must be worn with the bill facing forward.

     

Golf Course & Practice Areas - Ladies

Logos
Non-golf-related logoed attire should not be prominently displayed.  Non-golf related logos are not permitted on hats.

Shirts
Tops must be appropriate golf attire. Tops must either have sleeves or have a collar or turtleneck. Tops, other than those specifically tailored to be worn untucked, must be tucked in at all times. Exposed midriffs are not permitted.

Pants
Tailored slacks, capri pants, golf skirts at a minimum of mid-thigh or Bermuda length golf shorts are permitted.  Cargo pants, cargo shorts, track pants, denim of any type and sweat pants are not permitted.

Socks
Socks must be worn at all times except when wearing golf specific sandals.

Hats
Billed caps must be worn with the bill facing forward.

Enforcement
The Club's Professional and Management Staff are instructed to administer these Dress Regulations and are empowered to refuse play and/or Clubhouse services to Members or Guests who do not comply. Club Policy requires employees to advise Members in the event that they have failed to comply with Club rules. Once advised, Members are expected to comply immediately.
